The Waterside’s first New Year’s Eve will be one to remember – live DJs, curated menus at PAST / PORT dining, and rooftop views well past midnight. Whether you’re dining, dancing, or chasing the skyline, this is where the year ends and something unforgettable begins.
THE WATERSIDE NYE
Experience the NYE celebrations across the first two levels of The Waterside. DJs playing until 3am featuring DJ Joey Lightbulb plus guests. All inclusive package of canapés, house drinks (tap beer, cider, select wines and house spirits with mixers). Classics on Ground Floor, house on Level 1 – the perfect way to count down in the city.
PAST / PORT NYE BANQUET
A special New Year’s Eve banquet showcasing the best of PAST / PORT dining, premium dishes served across a relaxed, celebratory service. Add matched wines or upgrade to exclusive Level 5 access for the ultimate finale.

PAST / PORT ROOFTOP
Bring in 2026 with Melbourne’s newest rooftop – an open-air celebration on Levels 3 and 4, with upbeat DJs playing until 3am. All inclusive package of canapés, house drinks (tap beer, cider, select wines and house spirits with mixers). Celebrate the first hours of the New Year on the terraces until 3am.
NYE Packages on Ground, Level 1, 3 & 4
Doors open at 6.00pm, with the event packages starting at 8.00pm. Venue closes at 3am.
All tickets and packages have a 4-hour duration, from 8pm-12am. Stand-up canapé events with tables available on a first come first serve basis. We recommend arriving early to secure a table (doors open 6pm)
Tickets can be cancelled and refunded no less than 7 days prior to the event.
These spaces are 18+ only. Please ensure all guests are carrying valid proof of age. No refunds will be issued if guests do not have valid forms of ID.
The Waterside & Past / Port have outdoor spaces. Whilst large umbrella cover is available, we suggest guests bring rain protection such as raincoats in the event of predicted rain.
RSA: The Waterside and its team take responsible service of alcohol seriously. Please encourage your guests to drink responsibly as no refund can be offered if a guest is asked to leave due to intoxication or anti-social behaviour.
Shots are not available in any packages but can be purchased on the night. All spirits ordered within the package will be served with mixers added.
NYE Past Port Dining on Level 2
Restaurant bookings do allow Kids with a parent or guardian but please note when kitchen closes kids will need to leave the premises.
